Saving a family restaurant with master mezcaleros

El Refugio restaurant and mezcaleria is fresh, daring, and authentic in spirit. Due to COVID-19, the restaurant was under extreme pressure to pay rent and stay afloat. The owners came to us to design a bottle for their community-loved mezcal to raise money to keep the restaurant open during the pandemic. The solution uses a crafted a simplistic yet iconic jaguar label and local amate bark to keep materials accessible and authentic to the region.
